CONSIGNMENT INFORMATION

Doug Dalton Auctioneer is currently seeking consignments for our upcoming Auctions. To confidentially discuss possible consignments call our office at 1-800-801-6452.  We are frequently out of the office examining Items for future Auctions. Please leave a message with contact phone number and we will eventually contact you.
All items consigned to Doug Dalton Auctioneer are individually listed on an Auction contract. All Consignors must sign a contract that specifies the terms and conditions under which we will accept and  auction  your property, including commission rates. No reserves accepted on Items valued less than $1000.00, with reserve values placed at less than Fair Market.

All prospective Consignors can call or speak to us before or after an auction to have their material reviewed. We do frequently review photographs, and e-mails with digital attachments for consideration, please photo items individually in good light if possible. Potential Consignors should also include information about each image including dimensions, artist’s signatures, or maker’s marks, medium, physical condition, and any other relevant information known.

Doug Dalton Auctioneer, or a representative, is available to travel to the properties location, at no expense to you (if the consignment warrants). Please contact us to arrange on-site visits.

There is no charge for Auction Estimates.

Our current Consignment commission rate is 25%

No charges for: pickup, photos, insurance, or research.
Our Payouts are less than 30 days after items have been settled for with the average being 14 days.

At no time are Consignors allowed to bid on their consigned items.
